While I am super excited to get my trilogy out into the world (and get started on my new series), I’m pretty into books and reading in general. I was that kid who had her nose stuck in a book all the time. As a writer and teacher, I’m also passionate about turning kids onto reading, too. Kids who read a lot have a big advantage academically, as I’m sure you know. Not to mention, a new study came out recently that said people who read a lot of fiction are more empathetic. So, not only does reading make you smarter, it makes you nicer too. Total win-win!
